About Me

Hi, my name is Devon Diaco. I am a member of the Class of 2026 attending Davidson College in North Carolina. I am a Computer Science major with an intended minor in Economics. I reside in New York, New York and have aspirations to pursue a career that combines my passion in both technology and finance. I am particularly interested in fields such as finance, investment banking, and financial technology since they allow me to apply my technical skills in coding and data analysis to solve complex financial problems.
During the fall semester of my junior year, I enrolled in a class called Human-Computer Interaction which facilitated my learning in a plethora of areas. Throughout the semester, my class and I participated in four Design Sprint group projects where we learned things like user-centered design, prototyping and testing, data visualization and analysis, coding through development frameworks, interactive design, and tactile exploration through data physicalization. In this website, I attached posts of each Design Sprint and unpacked key takeaways in the Design Manifesto, which explains five fundamental guidelines to stick to during the design process.
